Thanks to all our Boudoir Marathon Clients!

Just wanted to say thanks to all the ladies who participated in our Secret Session Boudoir Marathon this past weekend!  I had such a great time with each of you!

Boudoir photography has come a long way since it’s major popularity in the ’80’s, when it was known more as “glamour” photography.  Gone are the days of the cheesy, overly posed photograph with soft focus filters.  Today’s boudoir is shot in more of a fashion magazine-style, with natural light and a natural look.  To me, this approach best achieves the goal of a boudoir session: to make a woman feel beautiful, sexy, and confident through relaxed, fabulous images.

Another very big thank you to make up artist, Tara Lasko of Paint by Numbr.  Tara does such a great job not only on the make up (which is amazing!) but also with talking to each girl and calming their nerves before the session.  I’m really happy to have Tara on board – she is a true talent.  If you’re getting married or having a photo session of any kind, Tara is your girl!

One last thank you goes out to Brooke Mosher of Brooklyn Designs.  Brooke was kind enough to share some of her beautiful jewelry with us for the girls to use during their Secret Session.  Her pieces complimented the girls’ outfits perfectly, and added just a little more sparkle to each image.  Check out her website to see her full range of earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.

In the meantime, stay tuned for our next Secret Session Marathon, coming up this fall!  We’ll also have some images from this past marathon to share on our boudoir website soon, so check back often for the latest!
