August 8, 2009 was a date I could have booked 20 times over! Seriously, I don’t know how many inquiries I got for this date, but it was a lot! Fortunately, Kristine and Tom booked WAY early (I think it was February 2008?) and got the date before anyone else did. And fortunately for me, they are an awesome couple, and I wouldn’t have wanted to do August 8, 2009 with anyone else but them! These two were great fun and you could really tell they were so excited to be getting married – just the way they looked at each other made you go “awwww”! Following their ceremony at the Chapel at Queen Elizabeth Park (formerly the Celebration Pavilion), we headed to Locarno Beach and then UBC for some photos – we had perfect soft natural light to work with, and the rain even cooperated and held off for the day. Their bridal party was a blast too – an enthusiastic bunch, they were willing to do just about anything for the perfect shot. The evening reception was full of excellent food, courtesy of the University Golf Club, entertaining speeches, and of course lots of dancing and good times. Check out Kristine and Tom’s adorable favours shown below, made by Heidi’s Cookie Creations – how cute are those? Thanks to Kristine and Tom, your friends, and your familes for a wonderful day!
