Kristina and Chris’ Maple Ridge Wedding – October 10, 2009

What a way to end the 2009 wedding season! Kristina and Chris had a beautiful, very emotionally-charged wedding day – these two are so deeply in love and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many happy tears shed! During the ceremony, the receiving line, the speeches, and the first dance, Kristina and Chris wore their emotions on their sleeves – I especially love the photos during the ceremony, with Kristina’s mom giving her away, and all the “I love you” looks between Kristina and Chris. On top of all the joy and love, we had a beautiful sunny fall day and thus the opportunity to visit some spectacular photo locations. I love the incredible mountain views unique to Maple Ridge, and I was happy to capture these vistas with the added beauty of a bride and groom. We travelled around Maple Ridge to the museum, a neatly kept little brick heritage building, and took some fun shots with the nearby vintage caboose as well. The evening was full of heartfelt speeches, lots of laughter, and even an ice cream wedding cake! Thank you to Kristina and Chris for having us with you on such a beautiful day – it was an honour to share it with you!
