I was so excited when Meaghan contacted me to arrange another photo session with adorable little Liam! I had last photographed him back when he was only three months old, and now he was three years old – how time flies! Liam has turned into a lively, active, and smiley little man, and he was a joy to photograph. We were back in one of my favourite spots, Britannia Shipyards in Steveston – I love the textures and colours here, which complimented Liam’s cute outfit perfectly. I had a wonderful time photographing this special guy and I look forward to photographing him again as he grows up.

Anjali – Child Portrait Session

Beautiful little Anjali was the perfect subject for a photo shoot – just look at those amazing big brown eyes! Anjali is not quite two yet, and though that age can be notoriously tricky to work with, I have to say Anjali was a dream. All she wanted to do was run around the park, cuddle her stuffed animals, and munch on the occasional Cheerio – this is how I love to photograph children – letting them do what kids do and thus capturing their true nature. This portrait session was made extra-special in that Anjali’s parents are Ian and Jocelyn, whose wedding we photographed back in 2006. It was so great to see them again, and to meet the new addition to their family. I love that sense of continuity that comes with my job – photographing people at one life-stage, then following them through to the next one, and so on – truly rewarding! Thanks to Ian, Jocelyn, and Anjali – I had a wonderful time with all of you!
