Vancouver Baby Portraits – Hope

It was a beautiful snowy day when little Hope came in for her portrait session, and she was just brave enough to do a few photos in the cold outdoors too! Hope has two of my most favourite baby traits – red hair, and dimples – super adorable! Mom Nikki is the sister of my dear friend Danielle, so it was nice to see them both again and get introduced to the new addition. Sweet baby Hope was so good for the whole session – I didn’t have to do anything and she’d smile and laugh – delightful! Thanks to Nikki and Danielle for bringing in Hope for her first professional photos!

Steveston Family Portraits – Dahlgren Family

The Dahlgren family had just added a beautiful little boy to their family, so it was time for a family portrait! I had a great time with everyone in Steveston, in particular near the new heritage area by Britannia Shipyards. There is so much colour and interesting textures to work with, making this area one of my favourite photo locations. Little baby Eric was a perfect gentleman for the whole session, never crying once and cracking plenty of smiles for the camera. I loved working with the Dahlgrens, and hope to photograph them again throughout their life stages!

Baby Rory – Newborn Photo Session

Little Rory was just 9 days old when we did his photo session! Tiny and angelic, he slept through the entire session – he even put up with being molded into different positions and being changed in and out of his little outfits – all with barely making a peep! Proud Mom Liza was doing well (see her maternity session here) and we got her in on some of the photos too (Dad Shaun and big brother Cohen spent the day at the beach, so Rory could have his own private photo session). Liza is a dear friend of mine, and I’m so looking forward to watching little Rory grow up!
