Fortunately we had a gorgeous fall day, and as always the Hambleton’s were fabulously dressed for their session – add some smiles and voila! Family portrait magic! I love love LOVE repeat clients, as it is truly the greatest reward to have a client come back to you over and over again for their personal photographic art. I am so happy to photograph this beautiful family, and I look forward to creating more portraits of them for years to come!

Beautiful little Anjali was the perfect subject for a photo shoot – just look at those amazing big brown eyes! Anjali is not quite two yet, and though that age can be notoriously tricky to work with, I have to say Anjali was a dream. All she wanted to do was run around the park, cuddle her stuffed animals, and munch on the occasional Cheerio – this is how I love to photograph children – letting them do what kids do and thus capturing their true nature. This portrait session was made extra-special in that Anjali’s parents are Ian and Jocelyn, whose wedding we photographed back in 2006. It was so great to see them again, and to meet the new addition to their family. I love that sense of continuity that comes with my job – photographing people at one life-stage, then following them through to the next one, and so on – truly rewarding! Thanks to Ian, Jocelyn, and Anjali – I had a wonderful time with all of you!
